Assign Tags / QR Codes to your Tables directly from the App !

Link you Tables to QR Codes


In this article:


LINK SECTIONS & TABLES

In order to have your Sections & Tables automatically displaying on the Tags app:

they need to be linked via the Oolio Portal using your Venue's unique ID number

To access the Tags, go to the Oolio Portal:

  1. Click on ' Oolio Tags ' :

  • POS Brand: Make sure to select ' Oolio POS '

  • Ordering Service: Online Ordering

  • Organisation ID: Unique ID. should automatically display when the POS Brand is displayed as Oolio POS.

    ( If not, please contact our team: 1300 166 546 )

2. Select a Venue ( if you have multiple venues ) => GET TABLES => your Sections & Tables should display automatically => SAVE :

⚠️

If you Create / Edit Sections or Tables in your Back Office:

Make sure to go back to the Oolio Tags Portal:

click on ' Get Tables ' to automatically update => Save


INSTALL THE ' TAG ' APP

This app can only be used on iPhones & iPads at the moment

IPHONES :

  • Go to your ' App Store ' => search for ' Oolio Tags ' => click on ' GET ' => ' INSTALL ' to install it on your phone :

ANDROID PHONES:

At the moment the Tags App is not available on ' Google Play ' ,

You can use an iPhone or contact us to assign your QR Codes

ASSIGN QR CODES to TABLES

Now that are your Sections & Tables are linked

& your App downloaded:

Time to link your QR Codes to your Tables

⚠️

You can only assign 1 unique QR Code per Table

Open your Oolio Tags App :

Login using your usual credentials :

Select a Section ( if you have several sections ) using the dropdown menu:

Assign a QR Code to a Single Table

There a 2 ways to assign a QR Codes to a single Table:

Click directly on the table:

  1. Start Scanning:

2. Point the QR Code at the camera => it will automatically identify it :

3. Click ' Confirm ' to finalise assigning the Tag :

When a QR Code is linked to a Table =>

the " Question Mark Icon ' will turn into a ' Scanned Icon ' :


OR:

Click on the ' Camera Icon ' :

  1. Scan the QR Code using the camera => it will automatically identify it :

2. By Default: it will display the 1st table number => use the dropdown menu to assign it to another table => Confirm :

Assign several QR Codes to Multiple Tables

1. Click on the ' Multi Assign Icon ' to start :

2. Select a ' Starting Table ' :

( for example: Table 2 => the next table will automatically be table 3, then 4, ... unless named otherwise )

3. Scan the 1st QR Code => when the message ' Tag Scanned Successfully! ' appears: you can start scanning the next one & it will automatically be assigned to the next table :

4. When all your QR Codes are scanned: press ' Finish Scanning ' => you will see your newly assigned tables :

UNASSIGN QR CODES from TABLES

1. Click on a the table you want to remove the QR Code from:

2. Click on ' Unassign All Tags ' :

3. The Table's Icon will go back the ' Question Mark Icon ' without any Tags assigned to it:


OTHER SETTINGS

Switch Venues :

  • If you have several Venues => you can access another venue by clicking on the ' Settings Icon ' :


Logout :

  • Click on the ' Lock Icon ' on the top left :

OR:

  • Click on the ' Settings Icon ' :

  • Click on ' Logout ' :


Refresh Data :
