Change your Cash Round-Off to your Business Needs

In Australia, the smallest coin is $ 0.05

So Rounding Off your cash payments to that amount make sense,

But if your Business is located somewhere else, you can change it to suit your need !

Configuring Round-Off

In order to configure round-offs, firstly, in BackOffice, click on Settings → Venues & Stores → Store Settings → Checkout if you have multiple venues and stores.

Or Settings → My Stores → Checkout if you have only one store.

In the “Checkout” page, firstly, you will have to tick on the “Enable Round Off” box.

After that, click on the “Value” dropdown and select one of the following value: 1, 0.5, 0.25, 0.1, 0.05.

After you are satisfied with your choice, click on “Save” at the bottom to confirm all changes.


How Will Each Round-Off Work?

1. When the round-off value is set to 0.05:

(this would be the best option in Australia)

  • Orders that are $4.91 and $4.92 in values will be rounded down to $4.90


  • Orders that are $4.93 and $4.94 in values will be rounded up to $4.95.


  • Orders with $4.96 to $4.99 in values will be rounded up to $5.00.


When the round-off value is set to 0.1:

  • Orders from $4.90 to $4.94 in value will be rounded down to $4.90

  • Orders from $4.95 to $4.99 in value will be rounded up to $5.00


When the round-off value is set to 1:

  • Orders from $4.01 to $4.49 in value will be rounded down to $4.00

  • Orders from $4.50 to $4.99 in value will be rounded up to $5.00
