Migration to the New Adjustments App - What You Need to Know

Status: Migration has been run. The feature flag will be enabled tonight.

What's changing
We're moving discounts, surcharges, and payment surcharges from the old Back Office → Venues into the new Adjustments app.

• POS: All existing discounts and surcharges have been migrated to the new Adjustments app.
• Oolio Orders: Discounts, surcharges, and payment surcharge settings will no longer appear in Oolio Orders.
• Manage them now in: Office 2.0 or the new Adjustments app (accessible from the old Back Office).
• Manual code discounts in Online Store: Discounts previously applied with manual codes have been automatically migrated to vouchers. Voucher templates have been created for them, and customers can still apply them as before.

Channel assignment
Each discount or surcharge can be assigned to channels:

• Online → automatically applies to the Online Store
• In-store → applies to mPOS, Kiosk, and POS

Payment surcharges (Online Store)
Setup is now simplified:

• A default payment surcharge is auto-created for every organisation with the Online channel assigned.
• Also accessible via a link in Online Store settings so users don't get lost.

New voucher functions

• Generate Voucher and Add Oolio Voucher added as function buttons in the Discounts group.
• Vouchers can also be redeemed in the Online Store.

What you need to do

1. Manage all discounts, surcharges, and payment surcharges from Office 2.0 or the Adjustments app (not Oolio Orders) — also linked from the old Back Office.
2. Review migrated discounts/surcharges and confirm channel assignments.
3. For the new Online Store payment surcharge while onboarding, just fill in the value in the Adjustments app — it's already created for you.
